Let the journey begin.

Many friends and family know that I love to garden.  But here in Salem, Connecticut, that's hard to do in the winter so I try to paint.  Painting helps to move the season along a little faster.  I've done some paintings (mostly watercolor) over the years, but I'm ready to take my art to the next level.  And the only way to get there is to become a daily painter.  Yes, my aims are high, but even if I only manage to do one a week, I'll still be very happy a year from now.  Most of all, I'm excited to gain experience by learning something new with every piece. 

I hope you'll join me in this journey and check back often to see how I'm doing.  I'll try to share something often, even if it's just a little sketch in my art journal.
